Today, 21 September 2025, I found myself standing in front of Église Saint-Joseph in Enghien-les-Bains. It was a sunny Sunday afternoon, and the square was full of life — families walking, children playing, people chatting outside cafés.
I smiled when I realized the date: the Feast of Saint Matthew. It felt like more than coincidence. Saint Matthew was called while he was at work, sitting at his tax collector’s booth, and in one moment everything changed. He stood up and followed Christ.
Looking at the church, I thought about how often in life we’re busy, caught in our own “work tables” — yet God can surprise us at any moment, asking us to stand up and walk a new path.
For me, today wasn’t only about visiting another church for our blog. It was a reminder to stop, breathe, and let faith connect with daily life. A small moment in Enghien, but one that made me feel grateful.
